They've tried two remakes, but neither really took off. RIP Rod Serling.

There's a station here (southern California) that runs an hour of original TZ every weeknight ... but I really need to buy the complete set on DVD.

Yup, ditto on that. Loved a goodly number of the eighties ones (A Little Peace And Quiet, Nightcrawlers, A Small Talent For War, Shelter Skelter).

The nineties/noughties ones should be handled with tongs though.

Let's hope not. Every iteration of The Twilight Zone is worse than the previous. Given the trend, should they make one now, it would be unspeakably bad.

As has been said, there have been a couple of remakes already (and a big screen film version).

If you're after more Serling styled thrills and chills, I recommend you check out the early seventies series Rod Serling's Night Gallery and the sixties incarnation of sci-fi anthology series, The Outer Limits
